A lot of posts have been made sa nag viral na transwoman. I am unaware sa ibang admins ko, but personally, this is going to be my last article na related sa kanya. Naghahanda dapat ako para sa article about divorce bill (stay tuned), pero I think na this should be a priority.
Meron na akong article about this news, and you can check it on the first reference . At the same time, gumawa rin ng article or post ang co-admin ko, si Admin Coco, about this news, and it’s unfortunate na maraming naka miss ng point niya or naka misunderstood . I’ve spoken to some people na nag memessage sa page namin, and fortunately, naging maayos yun after I clarified some things, and itetake ko lang tong opportunity to clarify some of the things that my fellow admin said na naging problematic sa iba because it’s too “discriminatory.”
Clarification #1: On the Issue of PWD CRs In the post, admin Coco said: . “No, Male and Female lang ang tunay na gender absolutely, siguro dapat sa PWD kayo mag CR mas maganda or Irequest ninyo sa mga mall na may sarili kayong cr .” . May mga nag disagree sa sinabi ni admin Coco. For example, someone replied by saying: . However, that is never mentioned in the post, and it’s just an assumption. In fact, merong examples sa malls na ang nakalagay ay PWD / Senior, but we don’t claim na ang pagiging Senior is a form of disability. May iba pang reasons why this can be done. Una, this is economic para sa may-ari ng malls. Rather than make new CRs na mas magastos, pwede na lang nila gamitin ang PWD CRs. Pangalawa, this addresses the common objections on both sides na uncomfortable either sa lalaki or babae since sa PWD CRs, if I’m not mistaken, pang isahan lang yun.
Clarification #2: On the Issue of Truth May mga nagrereklamo sa post since Admin Carlo said: . “Walang gender discrimination na nangyari sa pagsabi sayo na wag kang mag cr sa pangbabae, yan bang gender mo ay legit? No, MALE and FEMALE lang ang tunay na GENDER absolutely [emphasis added].” . There are many objections raised na nakita ko. Some people claim that what we said is wrong dahil daw modern science agrees that transwoman is a woman and a transman is a man. Unfortunately, not everyone in science community believes that. For example, the American College of Pediatrician says: . “A person’s belief that he or she is something they are NOT is, at best, a sign of CONFUSED THINKING. When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes HE is a GIRL, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes SHE is a BOY, an OBJECTIVE PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEM exists that lies in the mind not the body, and it should be treated as such [emphasis added].” . At the same time, may mga nagsasabi na ang thinking naming is pang Dark Age lang, and we are narrow-minded. However, may philosophers who also deny transgender ideology. According to Sophie Allen, a radical feminist and gender-critical philosopher : . “This presents some serious problems: What is this FEELING based upon if it is not biological? Why do people seem to LACK this FEELING if they are NOT TRANSGENDER? How is it different to being CONVINCED one is a DOG, or had a PAST LIFE, or is YOUNGER than one’s true age? (The belief that one is an animal is not particularly uncommon among children, but we DO NOT AFFIRM that they are a DIFFERENT SPECIES.) [emphasis added]” . In my previous article “IS TRANS MAN A MAN?” I’ve said that saying that a man is someone who identifies as a man is like saying that a square is a shape that looks like a square or frying is the process of frying . This “definition” of a man (that is also applicable to a woman defined by transgender ideology) is an example of circular definition.
Clarification #3: On the Issue of Charity Though we know that we are right, hindi to excuse para sa atin na mag express ng hatred sa members ng LGBTQ+. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church: . “2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with RESPECT, COMPASSION AND SENSITIVITY. Every sign of UNJUST DISCRIMINATION in their regard should be AVOIDED. These persons are called to fulfill God’s will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition [emphasis added].” . It’s unfortunate na ang posts naming ay naging venue to use inappropriate language both on the sides of Catholics, non-Catholics and anti-Catholics. We apologize if yung posts namin cause misinterpretation and if became a cause to people to show hatred to members of LGBT+. Personally, I am deleting comments that I find to be inappropriate, pero we can’t see every comment all the time since hindi kami lagi online, and as such, you can report such comments if you find it to be inappropriate. At the same time, I recommend chastity.com para sa mga tao who are members of LGBT+ and are Catholics at the same time. Our page is apologetics page and as such, may times na hindi kami ang perfect people para maaddress ang issues sa LGBT in the most charitable way even if we do our best to do so. May isang admin sa Chastity.com, who is also Catholic, who gave at least three tips on how to deal with gender confusion issues. He said: . “1. Tell someone you trust completely. A priest, your parents, someone, but I highly recommend an authority figure in your life, someone you know will react with love and encouragement. Telling people felt like lifting a huge burden from my shoulders, but also know that you don’t have to tell everyone. I have a lot of close friends who have no idea I suffer with this. I’m going to be honest: my name isn’t Sam Stark. It’s a pseudonym I use because there are a lot of people in my life who aren’t ready to know my cross yet, and that’s okay with me. Tell someone, but don’t tell everyone. 2. Pray, every day. Consecrate yourself to our Blessed Mother. Mary is the Undoer of Knots, and ever since I consecrated myself to Jesus through her, things have begun to unravel and make sense. Not complete sense, but I am understanding more about myself and how to live and love through it. 3. Know that you were made intentionally. God gave you a masculine body and put a masculine soul in it, or He gave you a feminine body and put a feminine soul in it. No matter the suffering, no matter the pain or confusion—and believe me I understand all of those—hold on to this truth. He is good, always, and He has a plan, always .” . We may have some disagreements, but it’s best that we pray for one another, especially for our nation. God bless.
