“We believe that our national healing, which only Lord can grant, will come to us through the hands of His mother.” – Most Rev. Socrates Villegas, D.D. (Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan; CBCP President)
In response to the call of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines President to participate in the second phase of this period of praying for the victims of extrajudicial killings that will start on November 5, 2017, the National Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Fatima will grace the “Heal the Nation” March. The Holy Mass will be celebrated at the EDSA Shrine at 3:00 in the afternoon to be followed by a candlelight procession towards the People Power Monument.
The “Start the Healing” campaign will end on December 8, 2017, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Within this 33-day period, we are requested to pray the holy rosary and receive Holy Communion, if possible every day, for the healing of our bleeding nation and for the peace of the souls of all those killed through extrajudicial killings.
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
