WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE OF JESUS FROM MUHAMMAD? by Bro. Duane Cartujano

Jesus died but resurrected. Muhammad died but did no resurrect.

Jesus made many miracles with numerous eye witnesses. Muhammad still is questionable historically in performing miracles.

Some Muslims say Muhammad performed miracles.

He supposedly cut the moon in half. They mention Surah 54:1 as proof.

“The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon).”(Surah 54:1)

However, it did not mention Muhammad divided the moon.

The verse simply said “the moon has been split.” This verse is a plagiarized portion of a poem by Emra Al Kaise who died in A.D. 540. Muhammad was born in A.D. 570. Look at the difference.

Jesus gives an assurance that anyone who will follow His FATHER will be saved. (Matthew 7:21-23)

Did Muhammad give the same assurance about his salvation and that of Muslims?

The Quran states Muhammad was not sure whether Allah would save him:

Or do they say, ‘He has forged it’? Say: ‘If I have forged it, you have no power to help me against Allah. He knows very well what you are pressing upon; He suffices as a witness between me and you; He is the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate.’ Say: ‘I am not an innovation among the Messengers, and I know not what shall be done with me or with you. I only follow what is revealed to me; I am only a clear warner.’ S. 46:8-9 Meccan

Muhammad said in the Hadith:

“I swear by who holds my soul in his hand (Allah), my people will split to SEVENTY-THREE denominations, one will be in the garden and SEVENTY-TWO in fire (hell)…”

Muhammad did not know if he will make it to the Garden or not. He said unless Allah covers him with his mercy he will be in hell.
